Senior Veterinary Nurse & Team Leader

Rochedale Vet Surgery

We are looking for a motivated and experienced veterinary nurse to lead our team at Rochedale Vet Surgery.

This position is full-time, with a four day work week and an alternating Saturday shift.

Who are we?

Rochedale Vet Surgery has been part of the local community since 1978! Since 1999 it has been part of the family-owned Judhar Group.

In 2022, we moved into a brand-new, purpose-built clinic just two doors up from our original location. With modern facilities and space to support our busy five-vet team, the clinic includes dedicated areas for consults, surgery, hospital care, and a spacious grooming suite upstairs.

Our team values good communication, teamwork, and creating a supportive environment where nurses are encouraged to ask questions, share ideas, and keep developing their skills. We aim to keep workflows calm and organised so everyone can focus on delivering great care to our patients.

Who are we looking for?

•    Certificate IV qualified (or equivalent) veterinary nurse or veterinary technician (Bachelor of Veterinary Technology). We require a minimum of 2 years’ well-rounded experience in clinic (post-qualification).
•    A dedicated individual who is eager for growth within our supportive environment, with excellent customer service skills and a compassionate demeanour.
•    Comfortable managing sole charge responsibilities, ensuring smooth clinic operations and high-quality patient care.
