Lizzy’s journey into the veterinary world has been anything but ordinary. After completing a Bachelor of Science in Conservation Biology in New York in 2012, she moved to Townsville to complete her Master’s in Tropical Biology. She then moved to Tasmania, where she fell into vet nursing, which turned into a decade-long career -- spanning Tasmania to Brisbane -- before she began locuming as a vet nurse with Judhar in 2023. After a year on the floor, she shifted into a support role in 2024 and stepped into the Operations Manager position in 2025.

With a deep love of systems and a self-confessed “efficiency nerd,” Lizzy is passionate about improving clinic workflows, supporting veterinary teams, and enhancing both client communication and patient care. She’s also recently added a Graduate Certificate in Web Development to her toolkit, with the hopes to combine tech and vet med to drive innovation in everyday practice.

At home, Lizzy is kept on her toes by her two quirky cats — Luna (a vacuum-loving, deaf Cornish Rex) and M’lady (Lizzy's shadow, a DLH with a tendency to walk like a drunken sailor).

Outside of work, you’ll find Lizzy camping, scuba diving, lifting weights at the gym, or diving into a video game when time allows.
