We are looking for an experienced Veterinary Nurse to join our team. This role has become available due to one of our amazing, longstanding nurses embarking on a new adventure.

Who are we?

Capalaba Vet Clinic is a small animal clinic located on the beautiful Brisbane bayside, 30 minutes from the city centre. We are well established and have been looking after pets in the community for over 25 years. Capalaba Vet Clinic is one of 10 privately-owned GP clinics within the progressive and veterinary focused Judhar Vet Group. Judhar Vet has the support, guidance & opportunities offered by a larger group, however each clinic is branded and operated individually with a practice manager and their team.

Who are we looking for?

  • Certificate IV qualified (or equivalent) veterinary nurse or veterinary technician (Bachelor of Veterinary Technology) We require a minimum of 2 years’ experience in clinic (post-qualification).

  • A dedicated veterinary nurse who is eager to embrace opportunities for professional growth and development within our dynamic team

We are seeking a nurse who:

  • Is enthusiastic & productive within a team environment but can also work independently.

  • Demonstrates initiative and high attention to detail.

  • Is efficient and highly organised with excellent time management skills.

  • Has excellent client communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Is competent with medical and surgical/anaesthetic cases as well as in reception.

  • Is committed to delivering gold-standard patient care.

  • Experience with RxWorks (desirable but not essential).
