About the Role

We are looking for an experienced full-time or part-time Veterinary Nurse to join our team. One of our much-loved, long-standing nurses is heading off on a new adventure in another state, opening the door for someone new to become part of our close-knit crew. This position offers set hours, with 76 hours available per fortnight. This would typically be spread over four weekdays (we’re flexible on which days) and alternating Saturdays. We’re happy for the right nurse to take on the full 76 hours or just a portion, depending on their availability.

Who are we?

Capalaba Vet Clinic is a well-established small animal clinic on Brisbane’s beautiful bayside, just 30 minutes from the CBD. We’ve been caring for pets in the community for over 25 years and are (1) of (11) privately-owned GP clinics within the progressive and veterinary focused Judhar Vet Group. Judhar Vet has the support, guidance & opportunities offered by a larger group, however each clinic is branded and operated individually with a practice manager and their team.

Who are we looking for?

We’re looking for a qualified nurse (Cert IV or Veterinary Technology degree or equivalent experience) with at least 2 years of in-clinic experience. Bonus points if you’ve got a good sense of humour—or if you love a good abscess.
